Jessi Patton and Megan Wakefield are the founders and principles of Juris Diction, a full-service business coaching and marketing company “created for attorneys, by attorneys.” They have a lot of insight into how to grow a law firm and what goes into marketing it, particularly for estate planning and other transactional attorneys – and of course, most of us want to grow in some form or another.

Juris Diction’s marketing strategy focuses on consistently creating high-quality content that establishes a firm’s expertise, providing unique and valuable content to a firm’s ideal clients, and building real relationships with potential clients long before a client agreement is signed.

It’s a refreshing approach and, if you go to the Juris Diction blog, you can see that they are walking the walk and providing a lot of genuine value to attorneys who want to grow their business, for free.

Last time Michael Mogill joined the show, we talked all about how his company Crisp Video makes exceptional brand videos for law firms. I (and, more importantly, my wife) was so enamored by what Michael had to say that, shortly after the episode, I became a client, too.

I wanted to bring Michael back on today because Crisp Video is hosting a legal conference, but it won’t be your typical legal conference – it’s the Game Changers Summit (11/9 & 11/10 in Atlanta, GA). So if you consider yourself a game changer in the legal space – or you aspire to be one – you’ll want to check this out.

And as a Law Entrepreneur listener, you can use the code TLE to get $100 off the price of any ticket at crispsummit.com.

David Burkus is a best-selling author, a sought-after keynote speaker, and an associate professor of leadership and innovation at Oral Roberts University. His newest book, Friend of a Friend, offers leaders a new perspective on how to grow their networks and build key connections – based on the science of human behavior, not just rote networking advice.

We discuss the lessons in this new book and how we can put them into practice after taking a break from our normal routine to share how I first came to learn about David: The Super Connector Summit.

Dina Eisenberg founded Outsource Easier three years ago to help lawyers who are overworked and frustrated – and judging by the folks that I know, that’s most of us!

You can think of Dina as “the Law Practice Accelerant,” a mentor who teaches the mindset and mechanics of delegation to solo and small firm lawyers who want to scale and design a law practice that fits the life they desire. She doesn’t directly connect attorneys with virtual assistants or outsourcing resources, instead taking a “teach a man to fish” approach to delegation and outsourcing.
